- Subj: A New BBS
-
- Beneath the Gum trees by the river, he sat back with a tinnie & said
- Arr G'Day Glen,
-
- Well I about to take the plunge & start a new BBS in Lismore NSW.
- The demand here seems to be the computer club & a few folks with old
- clunkers that don't do the net.
-
- "The Bit Bucket BBS" runs on an Amiga 3000 with 040 @25mhz 10mg ram
- SCSI 1 & SCSI 2 with a pioneer 6 stacker cd rom and 3gigs of HD space.
- Normally I use the machine for generating graphics for TV with Lightwave,
- ADPro & Scala. But, the community has put the pressure on me to do a
- board. If there's a half a quid in it I could spare the time, but ..
- oh well what the heck, here we go, here we go, here we go ..
-
- After trying out every BBS I could get my hands on, I'll bet ya can't
- guess what software I've set up. So I wrote this to say thanks for making
- it so easy to set up. I must have read everything you & Benchie have done.
- Thank guys top stuff.
